You will get a warm welcome from Ed and Tanya Ingleton who run the The Salt Marsh Gallery where you can then see their edited collection inspired by their coastal surroundings. There is a wonderful mix of art for the home and garden, ceramics, glass art, metal sculpture, jewellery, home accessories, gifts and quirky vintage pieces. Working with local and national artists there is a wide range of choice for people wanting something unique and affordable.
They have built relationships with local artists and they are meeting new ones all the time. Current painters exhibiting in the gallery include Jane Corner, Hannya Robinson, Nick Andrew, Alison Orchard and Heather Jolliffe and striking glass artist Angela Perrett.
But they are also showcasing artists that they have found on their travels like Roy Dutton who makes fantastic metal sculptures from upcycled tools and wood; Ali Tomlin, Craig Underhill, Michelle Hall, Jemma Wyllie, JDP Ceramics and Terri Smart who are all amazing ceramic artists.
The courtyard garden at the gallery is an unexpected delight with art and garden features. Graham Dore sculpts striking animals and birds out of metal which are finding new homes regularly and you can find stunning mosaic pieces by acclaimed local artist Trudi Lloyd Williams.
