John Whittaker

I live in Tilehurst, Reading. I work in oils on canvas. I am primarily a landscape artist, and I mainly choose subjects in my immediate locality - including the Berkshire Downs and The River Thames. Although sometimes a little experimental, my style could be described as 'impressionistic'. I am particularly fond of and influenced by the work of Claude Monet. Other influences are the work of Van Gogh and Berkshire artist, Nick Schlee.
