Mary’s work has been included in Open Exhibitions both locally and further afield: Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and the Society of Women Artists both at the Mall Gallery, London, Royal Watercolour Society, Bankside, London, Royal West Academy, Bristol and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists where she was elected a full member in 2025. Her paintings are inspired by the New Forest and the Solent coast. Studio visits by appointment.

About The Local Art Scene

This website was created as a way of finding and supporting artists in towns and cities across the UK.

The site was launched in 2016 by a Hampshire artist, who saw the need for a national directory where artists, galleries, clubs and suppliers could present themselves in an easily accessible environment, outside of conventional social media platforms.
