I am a Fashion design Graduate based in Bournemouth. My work is rooted in sustainable fashion. I love exploring upcycling and creating textiles in new, experimental ways. I have a small sustainable fashion label where I educate people on sustainability in Fashion. I’m a self-taught textile artist, currently learning different printing techniques and mixing them with various textures, fabrics, and patterns. Lately, I’ve been experimenting with making textiles from kitchen waste, like creating onion-based leather, and I’m still very much in the process of exploring and developing my practice.

About The Local Art Scene

This website was created as a way of finding and supporting artists in towns and cities across the UK.

The site was launched in 2016 by a Hampshire artist, who saw the need for a national directory where artists, galleries, clubs and suppliers could present themselves in an easily accessible environment, outside of conventional social media platforms.
