Wendy is an emerging artist who infuses her vibrant abstract creations with deep joy, bright energy, and gratitude. Based in the East Anglian region of the United Kingdom, Wendy rediscovered her love of art in mid-2024. Wendy takes inspiration from her rural surroundings, childhood memories of living by the sea and deeply individual experiences. Wendy studied art at school but took a 30-year detour into the insurance industry, earning a maths degree & completing the actuarial exams. It was following a challenging time with menopause issues that she rediscovered art.

This website was created as a way of finding and supporting artists in towns and cities across the UK.

The site was launched in 2016 by a Hampshire artist, who saw the need for a national directory where artists, galleries, clubs and suppliers could present themselves in an easily accessible environment, outside of conventional social media platforms.
