Jane Emberson

Jane studied Fine Art at Winchester School of Art. She combines the themes of nature and mythology to create a unique view of the landscape.
Many years spent sailing around Mediterranean coastlines and islands have played a major part in Jane’s work as she continues to explore and express the depiction of her surroundings.

Using a mixture of poured paint and gloss mediums on canvas, Jane invites the viewer to enter a fantastic world of amorphous shapes and organic patterns. Combined with shockingly vivid colours, Jane captures the essence and dynamism of the natural world as she sees it.
