Marion Royle

Marion has a BA(Hons) Degree in Fine Art. Her background is in Arts education. Marion’s move to the south coast gave her the impetus for a new style of painting and a new raft of work.

Elements of the New Forest

An exhibition of paintings by Lymington artists Trina Hart and Marion Royle who enjoy experiencing the landscape together painting en plein air and whose style and response produce very different results.

Trina Hart

As a painter of over 20 years, I have experimented with technique, colour, medium and form, which got me to where I am now through a journey of collaboration, courses and generally studying the artists whose work makes me feel connected.

Andy Baerselman

Andy lives and works in Lymington. After leaving Brockenhurst College Sixth Form, Andy studied at Rytecotewood College of Agricultural Engineering in Thame, Oxfordshire.

Arkadiuz Nowicki
New Forest

Born in Poland, Arkadiuz now lives and works in the New Forest. He creates his vessels from white stoneware clay, a strong and resilient medium. His desire is to create unique pieces that will stand the test of time, and which he can ’leave behind in the world’ for future generations.

Caroline Hall

Caroline was a reporter and presenter for the BBC before studying painting at Winchester School of Art. She graduated in 2007 with an MA in Fine Art.

Chris Whittaker

Chris was Creative Director of a leading advertising agency in London. Never having done a proper day’s work in his life (Chris’s words, not ours!), he moved to Lymington and took up painting full time.

Claire Wiltsher

Claire works from a wonderful garden studio, and is one of our most popular contemporary landscape artists.

Gail has a first class honours degree in Three Dimensional Design from Bath Spa University.

Hampshire Open Studios

Hampshire Open Studios is an annual art trail where the visiting public can meet artists in their homes, studios and galleries free of charge.

With over 250 venues open, in the ten days leading up to bank holiday Monday 29th August, visitors can get the opportunity to meet the makers direct and learn more about the work.

Stewart Mechem

Stewart’s stunning metre square canvases take their cue from the colours of the sea and coastline; local fishing boats and beach huts.

Victor Stuart Graham

Victor lives by the sea and loves boats. He originally trained as a graphic designer, followed by a MA in Textile Design at the Royal College of Art in London.

Hanger Farm Arts Centre
